How your donation can help:

• In a month, I spend approximately 500€ for the basic upkeep of the horses, i.e. feed, transport, and salaries for a small team of 3 grooms, a grass cutter, and a veterinarian who has recently joined us.

• On top of that, we have monthly expenses for drugs, vaccines, dewormers, headcollars, sawdust...

• Recently, we had another colic outbreak during which we lost three horses. Another heartbreak. We were able to organise a truck to be able to drive out of town to cut grass that is not contaminated but this has of course also increased our monthly costs.

• Maintenance and repair cost for the stables and paddocks are ongoing as fences get spoiled easily...

• The list goes on…

The current economic situation in Nigeria has seen skyrocketing prices for bran, grass, sawdust and the like, which has also added to the burden.

It would be wonderful if we were able to raise funds that would reduce our monthly financial burden, if only a little.
